Adhesive for difficult surfaces
In several months of intensive development work, artimelt has developed a rubber-based hot melt, the artimelt L1 1452, which has a very high adhesion to silicone-containing surfaces. The adhesive can be used to make classic labels as well as adhesive tapes.
The special feature of the adhesive is that it has a very high initial adhesion and build this up over time.
Where do you have to pay attention to when using artimelt L1 1452?
Over time, an extremely high release force builds up on traditional release liners, meaning it is no longer possible to detach the upper material from the liner. Therefore, a special release liner, must be used in order to create an adhesive laminate.
This release liner with the name artimelt RF 10008 is available from our partner Laufenberg. Please find your contact person from Laufenberg here.
